A Few Good Men

Lloyd Fowler died this month. Lloyd was a good guy with a big bass voice. He was a Alabama State Trooper and married to the 3rd person I met when I moved to Berry as a "very" young bride. The funeral of a state trooper is very impressive. The fire department from Fayette hung this flag over the highway in front of the funeral home during the funeral.

You can't really tell from this picture but there was about a mile long procession of Alabama State Trooper cars following the hearse with their lights flashing.
