CHATEAU ELAN

John and I were privileged to be invited to the wedding of the daughter of one of my best friends. The wedding was at Chateau Elan in Georgia. We left out about 1:00PM from Birmingham. Oh my, did we get caught in Atlanta "rush hour" traffic! It was terrible. We got to the hotel about 7:00 that night. We had planned on being there around 5:30. But, we made it, got checked in, changed clothes quickly, and headed to a little meet and greet. I went with my "didn't do right that morning-rush hour traffic-no time to fix it" bad hair. Well, it didn't really matter because the beautiful "bride to be" out shined everyone!the next afternoon we took a tour of the winery that is on the property

the "still around" old fangled way to make wine
